The three inhabited Islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino are situated in the Mediterranean Sea about 95 kilometers south of Sicily. The islands are approximately 316 square kilometers (Munich is about 310 square kilometers) in size and have about 400,000 inhabitants.

The History
7,000 years of history old temples, imposing sites of the Roman and Phoenicians, the palaces of the grand masters of the Order of St. John and 164 years of British rule have all left their mark on these islands.

The Climate
The climate of Malta is Mediterranean with mild winters and warm, dry summers. The average temperature is a comfortable 19.7 degree (Munich: 10.7). Malta has the ideal golf weather; no fog, no frost, no extended rain periods but many sunny days and 365 days of golf - each year!
